Crèche, Sunday School, Youth Club
Crèche
St Mary's has a crèche which is available to children aged 18 months to 4 years during the 10.00am Sunday service. Parents are welcome to drop their children off at Church House from around 9.40am and then make their way into Church (during the Family Service, on the first Sunday of the month, crèche is held in the Children's Corner in Church). The children will remain in crèche and be brought into the service just before Communion to join their parents. All helpers at the crèche have been CRB checked and most are parents so you can be safe in the knowledge that your children are well cared for in your absence.
If you wish to know more about the crèche, please contact Marion Hoare on 01707 875909.
Sunday School
Sunday School runs every week during our 10.00am Eucharist except for the first Sunday of the month which is the Family Service when children join the congregation in Church. Sunday School starts in the Church and the Leader takes the children over to Church House during the Gradual Hymn before the Gospel reading. The Leader reads the Gospel reading to the children and they have a group discussion and take part in art and craft activities, usually based on the Bible readings from that day, before returning to the Church for Holy Communion / Blessing. All children aged 4 to 10, whether newcomers or regulars, are welcome. Please come along and join us.
For further details please contact Gail Wallach on 01920 413547.
Youth Club
The Youth Club meets every Sunday evening in Church House during school term time from 5.30-7.30pm. It is open to all children from 9-16 years of age. We offer lots of activities and games as well as various arts and crafts, trips out and sporting events. We also have a tuck shop.
So, if you wish to join us, and meet up with other young people in the area, please come along or contact Maureen Bruce on 01992 425499.
